📖 Read Me — how to use this page

Follow these steps from top to bottom. Each step tells you where to look on the page — click Go there to jump to it.

Sign in — click Sign In / Sign Up at the top right of the page. Use the same account on one device at a time.

Purchase access — in the QuantumData Customer Access bar at the start of the workspace, click Purchase Access – $20 USD (30 days, unlimited files). Your dates appear under Your Access in the left panel. Go there →

Fill the details — in the middle panel Mask My Data, enter the report title, your name and who the copy is for. These appear on the certificate. Go there →

Upload your file — click the box Choose a file with personal data (Excel, CSV or JSON, column names in the first row), or use the Load from cloud tab (Azure, Amazon S3 or Google Cloud). New? Click Download a sample file just below it. Go there →

Check the column table — it appears below the upload box. Each column shows what was found (coloured label) and a suggested method in the drop-down. Change any method: Fake, Partial, Shift dates, Round, Range, Shuffle, Remove, Keep, or Clean the text for remarks.

Masking phrase and key — under the table. Keep the same phrase for related files (customers and orders) so they still match. Tick the re-identification key only if you need to trace fake values back — keep that file secret.

Click Mask My Data — the blue button at the bottom of the middle panel. A progress bar shows the steps; the right panel AI Masking Intelligence then shows the safety check and the counts. Go there →

Read the result — below the three panels: a green card “Safe to share — 0 real values left” (or a red card if anything is left), and four tiles. Click a tile or a tab: Before / after, Columns, Hidden in text, Safety check. Go there →

If the card is red — open the Safety check tab to see which column still has real values, change that column's method in step 5 (for example Clean the text or Remove) and click Mask My Data again.

Download — buttons at the bottom of the result: Masked File (same format as your upload), Masking Report (Excel), Masking Certificate (Word) and, if ticked, the Re-identification Key.

Next file — choose another file in the same upload box (step 4). The phrase stays, so the same people get the same fake values. Questions or ideas? Use the feedback form in the left panel.

You stay in control
Check the method for each column before masking, and review the safety check before you share the masked file. Masking reduces risk; it does not replace your own data-sharing approvals.

Transparent method: Personal data is found from column names and values (the same detection as Compliance AI Intelligence). Fake values come from your masking phrase, so they are repeatable — the same real value always becomes the same fake value. After masking, every masked column is scanned again for any real value.
